Inspired by a recent marathon viewing of "The 100", I went right to work creating many pieces to reflect the various characters, battles, relationships and most importantly, the overwhelming human survivor instincts. This is a unisex set of two stretchable bracelets that work so harmoniously together it represents our choice is to stay together and be and work as one.
The large 12mm beads are meticulously hand made of Bayong Wood which has a reddish-brown color with an outstanding wood grain pattern. Each wooden bead is inlaid with genuine Abalone shell. They have a soft polish, low shine making them perfect for male or female. The thin, complementary bracelet is made with tribal Picasso glass beads, also hand made. A variety of earth-toned glass Miyuki beads are strung between them.
The bracelets unstretched settle on a measuring cone between 6 3/4" to 7". Measure your wrist where you want to wear them prior to purchase please. Would make a lasting, thoughtful gift for a loved one.
I wear every piece of jewelry I make for a full day to be sure it hangs just the way it should, to be sure it is comfortable to wear, hangs at just the right length and has no sharp wire edges. Necessary adjustments will be made, then it goes to market.
